304/365: Happy Halloween!

Hannah was a little ladybug for Halloween. She stayed up way past her bedtime ... visiting friends and family!

303/365: The Back of the Christmas Card

I'm a list person. My lists have lists. It's how I function. So, today, I knew we'd be home most of the day and my to-do list was (and still is) miles long. Usually, I jot down another list when I wake up to organize my thoughts and give my day direction, but I didn't do this. Which resulted in productivity with a touch of ADHD. Riley got groomed... kinda. I vacuumed... kinda. I edited... here and there. We played, I did laundry, we went to Wesley Works for Hannah's Halloween pictures, and I designed and ordered our Christmas cards. It was a good day. In the middle of all of that, I all of a sudden found myself putting Hannah on the floor with Christmas lights in a Santa hat. See... ADHD.

The Christmas card design that I picked out needed a picture for the back of it. This certainly would have been perfect, but I ended up going with a different one. So, figured I'd share this cuteness. Have I mentioned how much I love this baby??

302/365: Christmas Card

Looking at the weather this week and knowing that the time is changing this weekend, today seemed to be one of the only days we could get a quick family photo for Christmas cards. I won't share that pictures quite yet :), but here's one that I caught after we were done. I just love them all so much!

301/365: Good Morning!

This kid is seriously so ridiculously happy first thing in the morning. I love her!

P.S. This is the only picture I took today. I grabbed my camera quickly and didn't check the settings, so it's full of camera shake, but the cuteness outweighs the technicalities. :)

300/365: My Babies

They're just so cute.

I'm going to have to find one of my baby pictures to put against Hannah's ... I'm pretty sure she looks just how I did at this age! Right, Mom??

299/365: A Quaint Little Creek

So, I had five photo shoots today. Yes, five... it was a mini session marathon. I had a newborn shoot yesterday, a mini tomorrow and a mini on Monday. Holy cow! All thanks to some pretty amazing clients and supporters!

Despite taking a whole lot of pictures today, I neglected to grab a picture of the day. So, I quickly snapped this shot during an outfit change at this afternoon's mini. :)

298/365: Farm Friday

It's been quite some time since I busted out a Farm Friday! I grabbed this super quick out of my car window on my way home from a shoot this afternoon. Our house is actually among those trees down there! Kind of a cool backyard, eh?

297/365: Good Balance

Regularly, Grayson jumps onto the banister when I walk down the stairs. You'd think he'd be more graceful, but often has close calls. Silly cat.

295/365: They Really Do Like Each Other

Yesterday, I posted the following picture on Facebook...

The feedback came in volumes. This is Hank, Hannah's boyfriend. Yes, we have some things to learn when it comes to nice hands. No, she never hit him. She was simply desperate to play (and really wanted his pacifier clip). Add that with Hank not having a great day, and you get the pictures above.

Hank and Hannah had another date today. We wanted to make for yesterday. Here's proof that they really do like each other!

294/365: Me Monday

It's been a bit since I've done a "Me Monday" with Hannah. After she woke up from her nap, we headed outside to try and take advantage of the late sun. I had a heck of a time with focus and poses. Then Riley came into the pictures and made it that much harder! So, although they are all wrong technically, there's no "picture perfect" posing, I have a day of make up and flat hair... this beautiful fall day with my almost 7 month old baby will never come again. (Please read this article!)

The winner is this...

Here are a few extras and I can't help sharing!

293/365: Some Floor Fun

Often, I find myself just hanging out on the floor with Hannah. It's too fun not to!

292/365: Thank Heaven for Hannah

I guess the saying really goes... Thank heaven for little girls.... but this one is definitely a little angel. We are so blessed to have this beautiful baby to call our own.

291/365: Our Little Pumpkin

She may cry in pumpkin patches, but she seemed okay with being a pumpkin.

Later in the day, when we were getting ready for our camping trip, Dustin found this spider on the hitch. Being that we're both pretty terrified of spiders, it was a battle for who would get rid of it. Obviously, Dustin being the man of the house, he won the job (despite being more afraid of spiders than me!). I begged him not to kill it though! So, he carefully picked it up with a tool and placed it somewhere else. I researched it and found out that it's a harmless barn spider, but boy is it big and scary.

Here's a picture to close out the day! We backed into our camping site right at sunset.

290/365: Magnificent Maple

I just love our maple tree out front. Can't wait for the rest of the leaves to change.

289/365: Ponytails, Cheerios and Sippy Cups...

Oh my!

I'm pretty sure this 6th month has been the fastest (or I guess technically the 7th month... but we won't go into the math of chronological age).

Her hair is getting quite long, as you all know. So, I attempted a "ponytail", or what I like to call a unicorn horn. It did the trick and it's oh, so cute!

Hannah has also started giving Cheerios a try. She loves them! (and not to brag, but check out that pincer grasp!)

288/365: Cousins in th Apple Orchard

I've been so fortunately busy with photo shoots and editing, that I have been neglecting the roses (you know... I forgot to stop and smell them). Hannah's cousin Alex moved 10 minutes down the road a few months ago, and we don't see him nearly enough for how close they are. So, although I have a lot of editing to do, I'd rather stay up late nights to get that done so Hannah has a chance to hang with her cousin. In a blink of an eye, they're going to be teenagers!

Megan (Alex's mom) and I went to the same farm that Hannah disliked the other day. Turns out... she also doesn't like it on a warm, sunny day!

After checking out the pumpkins and farm animals, we walked back to the apple orchard. On the walk, you could see a lone standing maple tree past the apple trees. It was just gorgeous.

I loved the lines of trees, so I wanted to grab a picture of Hannah sitting in the aisle. She was pouting when I put her down, so Alex sat with her to cheer her up. It was so sweet to watch. We couldn't get them both looking and smiling, but he kept his arm around her, gave her gentle kisses and handed her the pacifier. It was just so sweet.

The one below is my favorite. It's like no one was watching them... just sitting in an apple orchard together.

287/365: Just Hangin' Around

Dustin had some Hannah time this evening so I could work on editing. He hung her swing out front, so I had to take a quick break to capture her first swing moment. It was chilly and close to bedtime so we had to squeeze some smiles out of her.

286/365: Sunday Funday

I have been moving non-stop since last Wednesday. Photo shoots, traveling to DC and back, cancer walk, and today was another photo shoot day. It's been wonderfully busy! I had a morning shoot down by my parents and an evening shoot down by my parents. So, I figured it made the most sense to pack up and head down there for the entire day.

In between shoots, my best friend swung by to see us. She hasn't seen Hannah in 2 months! How did we let that happen?! Shannon just got engaged (wahoo!!!) and officially asked me to be her Maid (or Matron?!) of Honor today. Though we've planned it for years and years, I just can't believe it's happening. I get teary eyed thinking about it. Turns out Hannah was excited she's getting married, too!

At my evening shoot (which was gorgeous!), I very quickly grabbed this shot. I just loved the glow of the sun on the path.

Well, after these past few days of being on the run, Hannah and I are camping out tomorrow for a day of laundry, editing and playing!

285/365: GeGe the Survivor!

Every October, there's a Breast Cancer walk in Allentown. My mother in law and sister in law plan to walk every year (last year I missed it for my brother's wedding). It's a great time for the three of us ladies to walk, bond and celebrate my mother in law's 6 years of remission. This year, Hannah was able to join us. This mama loves baby wearing!

Here are Hannah and GeGe supporting breast cancer awareness!

Aunt Megan and Hannah supporting Breast Cancer Awareness.

The Miller Ladies! Walking for a cure.

Before the race starts, there's a parade of all the survivors. Every single time they do this, Megan and I lose it. We were close to the side and Brenda was able to jump out of the line to give us a hug and give little Hannah a kiss. Oh man did the tears flow.

It blows me away how many people come out to show their support.

Post walk smiles. Congratulations on 6 years, GeGe!

(And thank you Megan for taking so many pictures!!)
