334/365: Saturday Night Visitors

Tonight, my friend Kara came over with three adorable kiddos and her friend, Tim. Having four adults, four children, and two crazy animals in one house was one heck of a night, but it was such a fun visit!

Kara asked Tim to take a picture of her and me since we haven't had one taken in a while... probably since my wedding! I'm so glad he took one (more than one!!). This one's my favorite. It caught us in a moment of admiring Hannah.

Oh, and what's more fun than standing on a pizza box? Yup, that's right... nothing!

333/365: Christmas Kitty

We had to use an artificial tree this year.. and likely years to come. Despite having had real trees in the past, Riley chose to eat the tree last year. He's left it alone so far, but Grayson is still intrigued.

Hannah helped me put the angel on top of her first Christmas tree!! I love that I stepped in front of the camera for this :)

332/365: Thanksgiving 2013

Hananh officially had her first Thanksgiving! We were able to go to both families and had a happy baby the entire time. Wahoo!!

She got time with her Meme and Great MeMom.

Noah was very involved in our Thanksgiving celebrations.

Hannah learned that if she pats her GRAND Uncle Leigh's belly, all her wishes will come true.

Noah was quite disturbed that this baby stole all of his Mommy's attention.

Uncle Paul had a successful Movember.

We didn't have turkey for brunch, but may as well have.

Hannah played with her cousins at the Miller dinner.

She gave Sophia lots of kisses!

Ethan hung out with cousin Dustin. (His smile kills me!)
Sophia "the boss"

And the picture of the day. Another four generation picture. Technically not the greatest picture (I hate the flash!!) but priceless.

331/365: For the Love of Cheese

She's definitely my child. Her first go of some cheese was a hit. In fact, she double fisted!

We got some nice snowflakes today, too!

330/365: The Window

I took a similar shot with my cell phone yesterday for my Instagram photo project and loved it, so I took one today. Something I love about our house is the windows. They nearly floor to ceiling - they bring in great light and allow little people and animals to have a great view!

329/365: Catchin' Rays.... Again!

Even at the height of the sun, during this seasons, we still get long shadows. I just love that.

Hannah also met Dustin's cousin's son... so that would make him Hannah's first cousin once removed. Or second cousin? Whatever it is! They were really cute together. It's the first boy she didn't make cry.

328/365: Daddy's Girl

Four photo shoots this weekend... holy cow! I have the best clients ever :)

I find that when I'm busy with shoots, I totally neglect picture of the day! Though I saw a beautiful sunset on the way home, there was no safe place to stop, and I was ready to get home, so... I nabbed this one before bedtime.

She loves Daddy's shoulders. The best part is she grabs his ears the whole time!

And then there's these two crazy kids...

327/365: Another Game of Chicken

Hannah won this one, too.

I took this after attempting her routine monthly pictures. This was the first month that it was very hard... she wasn't sitting still for any of them!

326/365: PJs

I posted POTD 327 as 326 totally forgetting to post the ACTUAL 326.

I did take a picture, but it's a cell phone shot. Hannah sitting in our big chair in her fleece PJs after a bath from Daddy. Nothing cuter!

325/365: Boy Toy

Hannah's "almost birthday buddy" Oli came over today and he left his toy truck behind. His mom said he did it intentionally so he could see her again. She said it's the ol' "forgot my truck at your house" trick. (Ha!!)

Turns out Hannah likes the truck. Oli sure knew what he was doing!

I mean, she even downward dogged over the darn thing!

324/365: Four Years Ago...

Four years ago, at the time I write this, Dustin and I were just married. It was a magical day... it literally felt as if my dreams became a reality, and hasn't stopped. If I had to make one wish, on that day, of where I would want my life to be in four years, this is what I would have wished.

Today, as always, there's a to do list and never enough time to get it all done. I took Hannah upstairs for a diaper change and ended up laying on the floor with her, as I sometimes do. No phone, no distractions, just Hannah and me. Now that she's on the move, I watched her as she entertained herself and was just amazed. She's growing before my eyes. I quickly grabbed my camera to document some of her exploration, but then put the camera down to join her.

Her little elephant butt.

Pulling herself up to look through her books...

...and so proud of herself.

Finding her basked of stuffed toys and inspecting each one thoroughly.

Then back to her books. She just loves books.
Thank you Dustin for being an amazing husband for four years and counting, blessing me with this incredible little girl, being her perfect Daddy and being my partner and my supporter. I'm so incredibly lucky to live this life, thanks to you.

323/365: Tree Farm

On my way home from a shoot today, I grabbed a picture of the tree farm down the street. It's crazy that people will be (or already are!) getting their Christmas trees!

Sorry... no Hannah picture today. The day simply went way too fast!

322/365: Bling

Figured I'd test my borrowed macro lens on my best friend's new bling! Still need some more practice, but good start :)

321/365: Baby Food Makin' Sunday

I never thought I'd be a mom that made my own food... but I am. And I actually enjoy it.

And some evening antics...

320/365: Floor Fun

Yes, it's more work having a crawling baby, but it's so fun watching her learn and explore. She is so excited and proud of herself!

319/365: Hobby Lobby Won

I don't think I ever heard of a Hobby Lobby before a few weeks ago. Since one went in close by, it's all I've heard about. What I heard made me know that it'd be bad if I ever went in, so I've been holding out; but I finally caved, and I'm so glad I did. If Pinterest had a store, this would be it. A little piece of heaven.

317/365: Morning Light

Photographer's love natural light... so do cats. So, follow the cat for the good light in your house!

Meanwhile, Hannah and I played before her morning nap. The best!

316/365: What Shall I Wear Today?

This age amazes me. Hannah's grown tremendously in just a week. Last week, I could plop her on the floor and nowtworry about her moving too much. I could give her toys and take a fairly relaxed (but still quicker) shower. Now, I put her down and she's instantly crawling towards something and pulling herself up on everything. I'm certainly busier, but it's like watching magic every day. It's simply amazing!

This morning, as I opened the drawers to look for Hannah's daily outfit, I turned my back for a second, and this is what I saw. Of course, I had to document it quickly since it was so darn cute!

So fun!

PS - To all of my 365 photag friends, I've been SO behind on following your blogs. Between photo shoots, mommyhood, etc., I haven't had a minute, but see the light at the end of the tunnel. I can't wait to catch up on your amazing pictures! Thanks for always being so supportive :)
