151/365: Is That Curly Hair I See?

Hannah and I went to the city today for a photo shoot... she missed most of it, but that's okay. She gets "car seat" head and it sure looks like some curls are coming out! 

150/365: Blue Eyed Siamese

I've already featured Noah, but here he is again. Grayson's uncle! Haha.

Like most Siamese, he has stunning blue eyes.

Hannah and I had a fun visit with Meme today. Noah liked Hannah, but made sure he marked his territory. ;)

149/365: Cranky Baby

Yesterday, Hannah had her 2 month vaccines and slept most of the day. She also slept great so I figured we were good to go... but I was very wrong. This poor baby has been soooo cranky today and won't let me put her down. So, today's picture is a cell phone shot because there was no way this little lady was going to let me have a few minutes to pick up my camera.

I had put her down for her afternoon nap in her room, it lasted 45 minutes. This is the face she had when I got her. 

Throughout the day, I was able to complete only 1 load of wash and got on the elliptical 4 times, but for no longer than 5 minutes each try. She eventually fell asleep on my chest so I put her down. Silly me, so I picked her back up, and this is how I stayed for a good 2 hours. 

Poor baby. 

Side note... Dustin and I just tried giving her baby Tylenol. What genius decided to put red dye in a liquid that needs to be given to infants who will likely hate it and spit it back out? Duh.

148/365: Lazy Tuesday Cuddle Bugs

Hannah had her 2 month well visit today and got her dreaded shots. I'm not sure who had more trouble, her or me! She napped most of the day... and so did my little boys!

147/365: Texture

When in doubt, take a picture of... wood?

Most of our day was spent traveling home. We got caught on a highway after a bad accident. When we saw the SUV getting towed away with the driver's side completely crushed, a stroller in the trunk and a car seat in the back, it makes you realize that sitting on a highway with your car turned off for an hour is no big deal. God bless them.

Anyhow, after unpacking and getting settled, 7:30 pm approached and I still had no clue what the POTD would be. So, I grabbed my camera and walked around out back. Wood is what you get! I actually really like the texture in these shots.

146/365: Swallow Falls

Today, we took a trip to a State Park and saw some waterfalls. I didn't get many great shots today, but it documents this day in 2013 ;). If you look closely, there are people on the rock ledge; this will help put the waterfall into proportion for you.

145/365: Morgantown, WV - Home of the Mountaineers

I can't believe it's been seven years since I last visited Morgantown. I was a new graduate and still feeling like a college kid. Now, seven years later, I brought my husband and daughter to see my stomping ground. So much has changed... in my life and Morgantown! I got some great pictures to document the trip, but these two were my favorites for POTD.

This is a shot of the Mountainlair. It's in the center of campus and the hubbub.

Below is Woodburn Hall. If you look up anything about WVU, you'll see this building. It's like the second mascot, and it's gorgeous.

Overall, it was a nice trip, but very weird to be back as a "grown-up" and to see it so vacant with all the college students home for the summer. No matter how old I get, I will always bleed blue and gold. Let's Go!!

144/365: Mountain State Brewing Company

One of the best reasons to camp is to visit local breweries. Fortunately, Dustin ordered a sampler so I could state the brews. Surprisingly, the Amber was my favorite.

143/365: Happy Two Months

Hannah is two months old today! Of course, I set up to take two month pictures this morning, and Riley had to keep a close eye on his sister, as usual. It's amazing. Every single time I "set up" to take pictures, Riley is right by Hannah's side.

When I started packing up shop, Riley asked to have his picture taken too. (Yes, he can talk.)

142/365: Sleepy Beauty

Yes, "sleepy". She's not quite sleeping in this picture, but the evening cat nap wasn't far off after this picture was taken.

This one makes my heart skip a beat. I didn't plan on taking it and just snapped it quickly before going in... I just love how those last minute, unplanned shots end up capturing such genuine moments.

141/365: Black Lab

Today, I took some pictures for friends of ours who have four awesome little boys (a sneak peek is posted on my Professional Facebook Page). They have a black lab, Iggy, who I wanted to take some pictures of too. Not only is he a part of the family, but I wanted to practice taking pictures of a black lab because they're so hard to correctly expose... and of course I need to add some more pets to my portfolio aside from Riley & G!

139/364: Growing Up

Although Hannah sleeps in her own room, she still sleeps in her Rock n Play (like a bassinet). Now that she's 8 weeks, I want to start to make the transition into her crib. So, as she began to get sleepy for her mid-day nap, I swaddled her and plopped her in her crib. She dozed off no problem (swaddling is key, though. Otherwise, her arms and legs try to run away from her and she scares herself half to death!). As she slept in her crib, I packed away her newborn clothes. The past two months have flown by! My little babe isn't a newborn anymore. Woe is me!

138/365: Happy Baby

I think today might be the first day since Christmas that I didn't pick up my Canon. Thank goodness for smartphones with decent cameras on them! Otherwise, I would have missed capturing this beautiful smile.

Today, I took pictures of an adorable little boy at the family farm. (See pictures when I post them on my facebook page). On my way home, though, I snapped a picture of these horses. They looked so pretty among the yellow flowers.

My hair's been driving me crazy. It's been unmanageable and feels like a hot blanket on my back. I decided I wanted to get a new do for the summer. Last week, I realized I probably had enough to donate, so... I chopped 8 inches off!

134/365: Hannah's Baptismal Gown

Hannah was baptized on Sunday. Between rushing out the door and rushing to get home and change her for her party, we didn't get many of her in her gown. This morning, I got a few. What a pretty baby!

Of course, Riley kept a very close, watchful eye as he does every time I set her up for a photo shoot!

I've made it. I have a trunk full of groceries and strollers... and a sleeping baby in the back seat. I'm officially a mommy.

132/365: Four Generations

When I found out we were having a girl, one of the first things I thought of was getting this photo. My mom is the only daughter of four children and I am the only daughter of four children. (We'll see if Hannah ends up being the only girl!). Getting this shot is so special to me. It's definitely getting framed!

Happy Mother's Day to my MeMom and my Mom. I love you both so very much!
